Anwar Himamalee is the core founder and member of Comfort Zone. He is the eldest brother and due to the family’s financial issues, he started working at an early age. He was always fascinated by art and craft. He loved to watch his mom sew and was in awe to see raw materials change form and shape to turn into something beautiful. He was always interested in creating something extraordinary from the ordinary. He believed in entrepreneurship and wanted to involve his family in the business to ensure a strong and stable financial status for his family. This led to the start of the Comfort Zone in the year 2000. As the Director and also as the lead craftsman, he ensures that the company runs smoothly in order to provide high-quality goods. For Anwar, family, people, and quality have always been his priority.
